We normalize so much as busy moms.. but our bodies We normalize so much as busy moms.. but our bodies are always communicating with us. Here are 5 things you likely grew up thinking was normal, but may be worth paying attention to: 👇

1. Constant Fatigue
If you’re tired all the time, it may not just be”mom life.” Chronic fatigue can signal deficiencies in iron, B12, or vitamin D… or point to stress, poor sleep, or an underlying condition. It can be worth a conversation with your healthcare provider.

2. Mood Swings
Frequent mood swings aren’t something to just push through. Recognizing the pattern is the first step so that you can address the root cause, not just accept it as your new normal.

3. “It’s Just Stress” (High Blood Pressure)
Stress can raise blood pressure, but hypertension is rarely that simple. Diet, exercise, sleep, and sometimes medication all play a role. Don’t let oversimplification delay you from seeking and getting care.

4. Frequent Headaches
Not just an annoying inconvenience. Headaches can be linked to dehydration, nutrition gaps, or posture. Tracking your triggers could be a game-changer.

5. Skipping Breakfast
It might feel like you’re saving time by skipping breakfast, but this habit can tank your energy, mood, and focus. Even a quick protein + complex carb combo can make a real difference in how your day feels.

Your body isn’t being dramatic. It may just be trying to get your attention. 🤍

Save this for later & share with a mom who needs to hear it.
Being a pharmacist doesn’t mean my first instinc Being a pharmacist doesn’t mean my first instinct is to reach for medication.

In fact, I’m a big believer in trying simple, evidence-based options first when it makes sense.

Over the years, I’ve picked up a few health hacks that I recommend all the time — things like peppermint oil for headaches or oat baths for eczema.

They’re simple, accessible, and surprisingly effective.

Of course medications have their place, but sometimes the small things can make a big difference.

Curious — which one of these have you tried before?

Let me just say- representation matters.

Being in rooms like these reminds me how powerful it is to see people of colour recognized and celebrated in spaces where we haven’t always been centered.

When I see excellence that looks like me, it reminds me that I belong. That my voice matters and that what I bring to the table has value.

Grateful for the community and the reminder of what’s possible.
